About the Faculty

​Welcome to the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). We are committed to provide a range of programmes that produce creative, adaptable and well-rounded graduates who are empowered to participate in the key role that emerging ICT technologies play in the future world of work. The Faculty of ICT at TUT is the only such faculty in the country and we are proud of our reputation for producing highly employable and adaptable graduates and postgraduates. 

Exciting things are happening in all areas of​ science and information technology and new technologies are emerging, such as data science and analytics, cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence, robotics, virtual and augmented realities. Our programmes will provide you with the skill to understand, evaluate, apply and participate in areas of ICT that fit the changing job landscape. 

​Our highly-competent academic staff will partner with you to prepare you to face the challenges in the global ICT environment in order for you to make a meaningful contribution to the economy of the country and the world at large. ​​​
